EAST: Hail, Moose of the air, guardian of the east! We summon, stir and call you forth to witness this rite and protect the sacred space. Encourage us to be headstrong like you, enjoying our power. Bless these confections of air and aroma. All those gathered here, feel a gentle breeze and hear the family walking through underbrush… So mote it be.
SOUTH: Hail, Coyote of the fire, guardian of the south! We summon, stir and call you forth to witness this rite and protect this sacred space. Teach us your trickster’s ways so that we can understand the hidden connections between life and death, between sorrow and humor. Bless this fiery candy. All those gathered here, feel heat on your brow and hear Coyote’s piercing howl… So mote it be.

With deepest love and respect we invite the Herne the Hunter and the White Lady into this circle of the four ancient elements. Lord and Lady, bring us your illuminating presence, mysterious and divine. We call upon you to be with us now in space and time, to witness, protect and guide this rite of celebration and magic. Cernnunos and Crone, purify all energies and fill them with harmony so that the witch and the magic work in divine union, and create the pattern that will crystallize into our desire here on Earth.
