Leonard Peltier
When I lived in New England I used to work with Jack McGee and his wife Ricky to help Native Americans find employment and housing out side of the reservation. I was quite active in this cause for years and must admit since I have been here in NC I have not participated as much. Now it is time for me to become involved once again in this cause. Even if it is something as small as signing a petition.

Please take a few minutes and read about Leonard Peltier, a Native American activist unjustly convicted and jailed over 33 years ago.  If you agree he should be free, sign the petition requesting his clemency.

For more information, read A Brief History of the American Indian Movement or browse the American Indian Movement site.

Thank you!
