Image I just watched a special on HBO about the problems in Darfur.  I had heard about it before and knew it was bad, but this was beyond anything I had imagined.  Did you know that 2.5 million people have been driven from their homes in Darfur, Sudan? Each day, they face threats that are hard for us to even imagine, including rape, disease, and starvation.

These people need our help to put an end to the genocide and they need it NOW.  There may be little that we can do, but every bit counts.  Please join me in taking the first step to stopping the violence.

Visit the link below to sign the Save Darfur Coalition's petition urging President Bush and UN Secretary-General Ban to take immediate steps to stop the killing.

All of us hold spiritual beliefs and some of us strive to incorporate spirituality into our daily lives. I'd like to explore the beginnings of my own spiritual journey in an attempt to describe how I navigate the morass of paths that exist. Hopefully this article will give you some ideas for progressing through your own spiritual journey.
